On March 5, 2009, Intrepid Potash, Inc. issued a press release announcing its financial results for the fourth quarter and full year 2008. A copy of the press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this report.

On March 6, 2009, Intrepid Potash, Inc. will hold a conference call to discuss its earnings for the fourth quarter and full year 2008.
