On April 14, 2009, Investors Bancorp, Inc. and American Bancorp of New Jersey,
Inc. issued a joint press release announcing, among other things, that they have
received all necessary regulatory approvals to proceed with the acquisition of
American Bancorp by Investors Bancorp. The press release is attached as
Exhibit 99 to this report.
