Synergy Pharmaceuticals, Inc.'s Phase IIa clinical trial of its proprietary drug SP-304 in chronic constipation patients scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2010 has been changed to a 14-day repeated-dose, placebo-controlled dose escalation clinical trial from a 7-day repeated-dose, placebo-controlled dose escalation clinical trial.
